Department of European and Educational Programmes
The Department of European and Educational Programmes concludes and implements bilateral agreements between AUTh and Universities worldwide; it also implements AUTh European Policy, both through the SOCRATES/ERASMUS programme and the various European Educational Programmes (ECTS, COMENIUS, GRUNDTVIG, MINERVA, MUNDUS, TEMPUS, LINGUA, etc.)

Department of International Relations
The Department of International Relations of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is responsible for developing, cultivating, organizing and keeping the good relations of the University with the international university community, promoting cooperation and academic communication between academics and students in the field of teaching and research.

Department of Studies
The Department of Studies has the following responsibilities:
1. Collecting all kinds of laws, decisions, and circulars concerning undergraduate and postgraduate studies, coordinating their homogeneous implementation and carrying through any procedure that is provided for by existing legislation on studies and issues pertaining to foreign students (Presidential Decree 47/Official Gazette Α΄/33/5.3.96)
2. Coordinating scholarships for foreign undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD candidates, and researchers in accordance with the AUTh Scholarships Regulation
3. Organizing attendance to the Intensive Summer Course of the School of Modern Greek Language for students from foreign universities and students of Greek origin
4. Organizing the attendance to respective Summer Language Courses offered by universities abroad for Greek students
5. Providing reimbursement for postgraduate students
6. Informing the public on issues pertaining to studies and student services
7. Organizing the reception of first-year students, distributing printed information material and facilitating their smooth integration in the academic community
8. Helping first-year AUTh students find accommodation
9. Informing AUTh schools about the fees paid by foreign students
10. Keeping and updating information on issues pertaining to studies and student services (announcements for scholarships, awards, competitions, seminars, conferences, student employment opportunities, announcements for postgraduate courses, Summer Schools abroad, etc.)
11. Collecting, processing and providing statistics on Greek and foreign students, students of Greek origin, students from Cyprus, undergraduate and postgraduate students, etc.

Public Relations Department
The responsibilities of the Public Relations Department include organizing and promoting university events, collecting information material for updating the information on the AUTh website and AUTh leaflets; keeping and regularly updating the records for the members and ceremonies of the academic community, keeping the official gowns of the university, and organizing the reception, interpreting and guided tour services for university guests.

Career Services Office
Its main objective is to help A.U.Th. students’ and graduates’ transition to a career, which corresponds to the knowledge acquired during their university studies. It provides students and graduates with information about undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Greek and foreign universities, student mobility programs (ERASMUS/SOCRATES, etc.), available scholarships and bursaries, the labour market in Greece and abroad (organizational structure, activities, specializations), and job vacancies. Moreover, the Career Services Office offers counselling services (individual and group counseling) by trained personnel concerning decision-making and career choice, compiling a CV and letters supporting job applications, job interviews. On its own initiative or in collaboration with A.U.Th. Schools/Departments organizes events, about postgraduate studies, scholarships, labour market etc and conducts research projects.
