Maintenance Department
The responsibilities of the Department include: repair and maintenance works for AUTh buildings, electrical and mechanical, telecommunications installations, maintenance of gardens and generally all infrastructure. Moreover, the Department is responsible for the execution of all necessary repair and refurbishment works, as well as restoration of problems, either by using existing staff, or by initiating a public tender process, or other procedure in accordance with the legislation in force, supervising the staff or contractors who are responsible for the project.

Facilities Department
The Department is responsible for the supervision, control and operation of all electrical-mechanical facilities and equipment of the University, and more specifically, the electricity and heat substations, lifts, etc. Moreover, the Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of cars, the operation of telecommunication means and, finally, the cleaning of all interior and outdoor spaces of the University Facilities.
