Since it began participating in the Erasmus programme, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has been providing most incoming students with accommodation. There are about 500 incoming students at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki every year, 60% of whom are accommodated in the two hostels of the university. Students have to pay 50% of the rent, and another 50% is paid by the Aristotle University; thus, incoming students are provided with low-cost accommodation.

Incoming students who cannot be housed in the hostels are provided with the necessary information to find housing in the private sector through the website of the Department of European Educational Programmes (http://www.eurep.auth.gr.)

The two Foreign Student Hostels available to incoming students are located in:

  • 7 K. Matsis street, 40 Ekklisies
  • 134 Kassandrou street
