Scholarships from funds, bursaries and donations

A.U.Th. manages 17 funds, 9 bursaries and 8 donations that are used for scholarships, grants and financial support to A.U.Th. students and graduates.

As most legators and donors came from underdeveloped regions, they were interested in promoting their regions and providing every support to their homeland. Thus, a basic condition for these scholarships is the student’s place of origin, the low family income, progress and excellence in his/her studies. From 1995 to 2003, the Funds Department of the Aristotle University has awarded 700,000 euros for 500 scholarships.
