Social Policy Committee

The Social Policy Committee was established by the University Rector’s Council in September 1997 with the aim of contributing to the solution of potential student problems, fostering academic life on campus, and forging ties with the wider community.

The Committee provides the following services:

• It supports students with special needs;

• It communicates with foreign students;

• It provides information on preventative health measures and health care issues;

• It raises awareness about issues pertaining to modern society and modern life;

• It provides counselling and psychological support;

• It forges ties between the university and the wider community;

• It promotes any activities related to the above objectives.
