University Forest Reserves

The former is located on the Pindos mountain range in Thessaly at an altitude of 1,100 to 1,700 m, and it covers an area of 3,300 hectares; the latter is in Vrasna, Chalkidiki, at an altitude of 300 to 1,200 m and it covers an area of 5,500 hectares. The forest reserves serve the research and practice needs of the students of the School of Forestry and Natural Environment, and they also include special facilities for the students’ accommodation.
