Key responsibilities of the Department include:

• repairing and maintaining electrical engineering and telecommunications facilities, buildings and, in general, the infrastructure of the Aristotle University,
• undertaking all the necessary tasks repairing, refurbishing and restoring damages, either by employing existing staff or by initiating a public tender process or other procedures in accordance with current legislation,
• supervising the staff or the contractors responsible for the maintenance works carried out at the Aristotle University.
