  • The School of Journalism and Mass Communications of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1991 (pursuant to the presidential decree 331/29-7-91), with the aim to provide students with theoretical and practical training in journalism, enhance research in journalism and the mass media, as well as reinforce the efforts made to safeguard the rights of journalists in Greece.

    The School of Journalism and Mass Communications offers a BA Honours degree in a) Journalism, and b) Mass Media.

    While internship is optional, students have to submit a thesis in order to fulfill the requirements for a BA Honours degree at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
